Steve Jobs | Analogy

PCs are going to be like trucks, there still going to be around, there still going to have a lot of value, but there going to be used by one out of “x” people“. – Steve Jobs on the future of computing

Wow…Adobe has Surrendered.

Wow…. I guess Mr. Jobs told the Adobe folks how it was going to be and that they might want to start apologizing.

Adobe has publicly surrendered to Apple and is apologizing to Mr. Jobs with large Ad Buys that actually say “We Love Apple”.

May 6, 2010 | Lesson

I was sitting in my chair on May 6th and I heard someone say: “F#$%^…. all of my Stops are getting hit.”

Turned out his Stops turned into Market Orders due to the speed of the market. That person is now $13,500.00 poorer.

Stop Orders Vs. Stop Limit Orders

STOP ORDER: When you place a stop order, you’re placing an order that will turn into a market order when the stock reaches the stop price. On May 6th, 2010 your stop order probably turned into a nightmare.

STOP LIMIT ORDER: When you place a stop limit order, it will turn into a limit order at the stop price. For instance, if you place a stop limit sell order at 100, and the stock moves down to 100, your shares would sell at 100 or above – but not below the stop limit price. So if the stock went to 50, and then below before your order filled, it would remain an open limit order.

It’s good practice to always place a limit order. Limit orders are a must.

Value of the iPad.

Value of the iPad.

Rick Schwartz gives his opinion of the iPad.

“I will be buying several. Not sure just how many. One for the cocktail table. One for the bedroom. One for the bathroom. But forget about me, I see UPS getting rid of their clunky piece of crap that they use all day and replace with this. I see many companies adapting a system of ipads based on a single app that changes how they do business. I see this as a computer with no lid. I see this as a remote control to control more things than I have even thought about. I see one of these being built in to every room in every new home to REALLY make a “Smart House” that you can really control from anywhere and do it for  fraction of the cost today. One app will change how we view the ipad. One use. One idea.” – Rick Schwartz

Rick is an internet visionary/savvy deal maker.
