Bugatti Stratos

“French graphic / industrial designer Bruno Delussu has come up with what the next generation of Bugatti supercars might look like. What sets Delussu’s imaginings apart from the pack is his perfection of detail and spot-on use of style cues from Bugattis of yore, something sorely lacking in the otherwise awesome Veyron. With no official ties to the famed marque, Delussu was free to work on his design for the Stratos free from the need to observe even the rudiments of production capability and restrictions. The result is pure visual pleasure, beautiful precisely because it’s so impractical.” Via jameslist.com

“The overall shape of the Stratos was inspired by the streamlined design of the highly-prized Bugatti Type 57, produced from 1934 – 1940, while the front end contains design references to the Alfa Romeo 6C 2500 Mille Miglia.”
