How healthy are you?

Epidemic or Pandemic. Do you need some Protection?

“It has long been recognized that most flu deaths are due to pneumonia caused by secondary bacterial infections.” – More here…

Antibiotics play a key role in the survival rate during an epidemic. Stop worrying about Tamiflu and start thinking about how your going to get your hands on some Cipro.

“According to the CDC, every year an average of 5 to 20 percent of the U.S. population gets the flu, more than 200,000 are hospitalized from flu complications and there are about 36,000 flu-related deaths.” Via the FDA…

If you are healthy, you have reason to dismiss this as a silly, over hyped, crazy media frenzy.

If living on the edge of healthiness is your thing, you might want to double up on the hand washing.

What is an epidemic?

1. It must be an infection that has newly emerged.

2. It has to be able to cause serious illness in humans.

3. It must be able to spread easily from person to person.

What is a Pandemic?

1. All of the above plus the potential to spread around the world faster than a MoFo.
